Boston’s Run To Remember – Announces $10,000 Cash Purse
Boston’s Run To Remember announces a $10,000 cash purse for the 5-Mile Run on Sunday March 13, 2005 awarded to two categories of athletes. Elite athletes will compete for $8,000 while non-elite athletes will compete for $2,000. The non-elite purse of $2,000 will be for top female and men in both open and masters categories. Entry in the 2005 Boston’s Run To Remember will automatically qualify non-elite athletes for this purse. Elite athletes should contact the event at director@bostonsruntoremember.org to declare their eligibility. Entrants in the half marathon will compete for non-cash awards and trophies. Boston’s Run To Remember is a half marathon and 5-mile race being held at the Seaport World Trade Center Boston on March12-13. Proceeds of the event benefit the Boston Police Foundation’s Kids At Risk Programs supporting Boston’s area youths.
